Jewellers and Jewellery Making

A history of the Jewellery industry in Western Australia from the 1920’s as recorded in a taped interview of Charles Harold Harris in 1985.  The cassette tapes and verbatim transcript can be found in the J.S Battye Library of Western Australian History and was conducted by Chris Jeffery.  The interview contains fascinating insight into the early years of jewellery making in Western Australia.  If you have a family history in jewellery during this time, you may want to peruse the index below to see if anything comes up of significance.
